Out There...

This summer we travelled out west and saw some new landscapes, among other things. The wide open spaces and mountain vistas were freeing, and brought to mind the words "grandeur" and "vastness".

Here is one of my favorite flowers, the Hibiscus....also at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. My son enjoys them, too.

A Botanical Day

It was a BEAUTIFUL day for the Norfolk Botancal Garden. The weather was perfect and my husband and I took the boys to enjoy the day. The colors of these flowers are spectacular. Here they are in unedited form. I may play with cropping a little later, but I like them as is.

Roses in my garden...

With two toddlers, my roses are on their own for a couple more years. But they can be beautiful, even unpolished.
